OMG! Who's Farting? You or Me? - A love letter directly to you

Happy One-Week Anniversary in the wild world of parenthood! You did it — seven whole days of surviving on love, adrenaline, snacks, and (maybe) 43 minutes of sleep. You’re officially in the club now, and yes, it’s as unhinged and beautiful as they said it would be.

Right now, your days might sound something like:" My nipples hurt." "Was that the baby?"(2 seconds later) "Okay. That’s definitely the baby."

You might cry for no reason. Or every reason. You might stare at them like they’re the most perfect thing you’ve ever seen… and then immediately Google, “Why won’t my baby sleep unless I hold them like a rotisserie chicken?”

And guess what? You’re doing amazing.

No one talks enough about how wild this first week feels. How the nights are long and the diapers are endless. How your body is recovering and your mind is racing and your heart is doing this weird, expanding thing that kind of hurts but also feels like magic.

You may feel like you're losing parts of yourself. But really, you’re just being remade. Stronger. Softer. Wiser. More snack-fueled.

So here’s to the milk-stained shirts, the 3 a.m. Google searches, the tiny socks that keep disappearing, and the moment you finally get them to sleep and just... watch them breathe.

You’re not alone. You’re not doing it wrong. You’re a mother now and that means everything is different, and everything is okay.

Sending you love, caffeine, and a silent “you got this.”

And for the papas reading this: We see you in the trenches too. Don’t forget to hydrate and pretend you know how the bottle warmer works. Lakers in 5. lol

With all my soft, screaming love,

Mo' (Formerly known as a well-rested person)

P.S. Yes this is for you! I'm so proud of you. Just in case I didn't tell you over the weekend, Summer starts in 10 days, Faja TODAY.
