Welcome to the Soft Side of Screaming (Where the Snacks Are Holy and the Tears Are Shared)

I started this blog somewhere between wiping someone else's tears and realizing I’ve eaten nothing but cold chicken nuggets and applesauce for two days straight.

I remember a time, when I was the rich auntie with clean floors and Bottomless mimosas plans. Yeah… now I'm wiping noses with one hand and budgeting for snacks with the other.

Not just the tantrums or the crying-because-the-banana-broke. I mean the internal noise, the guilt, the overstimulation, the “Am I doing this right?” at 2 a.m. when no one’s sleeping. Somewhere in all that noise, I stopped screaming out loud and started screaming softly into snacks, into silence, into stories.

That’s how The Soft Side of Screaming was born.

And from that chaos walked out my alter ego: Saint Cereal. Patron saint of half-eaten granola bars and moms who forgot to pee today. She's divine, slightly dramatic, and fueled entirely by fruit snacks and audacity.

This space is for the parents who feel like they're doing everything and still question if it’s enough. For the ones who are gentle by choice and wild by circumstance. For the ones screaming inside the not so luxury car and whispering “I love you” in the dark.

So here’s what you can expect:

  • Messy moments told with honesty and humor

  • Snack-fueled confessions (with crumbs included)

  • Love letters to moms and dads (wink.wink.) like you, imperfect, incredible, and still showing up

Whether you're hiding in the pantry or rocking a baby who just pooped after a bath — you're seen here. You're sacred here. You’re doing holy work, even if you're wearing the same T-shirt for the third day straight.

Welcome to the soft side.
